Mr. Booker’s Biography
My name is Maurice L. Booker; I will be teaching fifth grade math this year. I have an extensive and distinguished educational career. The 2019-20 school year will be my seventeenth year of providing instruction to fifth grade students. This year will be my first instructional year at Global Preparatory Academy and working for Accel Charter Schools.
I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of Michigan, in 2003. In 2005, I received a Master’s of Arts degree in Urban Education-also from the University of Michigan. I am thrilled to be a member of the Cornerstone Family. I am excited to be teaching your children and can’t wait to see how far they will soar!
When I am not teaching, I enjoy exercising, traveling, and spending time with my beautiful daughter Ebony. I will make fifth grade a truly memorable and enjoyable experience for your child. I look forward to a wonderful school year.
